The Owner Of The Blog Is Back!

>> Wednesday, February 27, 2008

Hey everyone!! I am back after being questioned by a lot of people whether or not I have 'abandoned' my beloved blog for there was no update at all for the past one week.. Life has been too hectic for me to blog - too many parties to attend to *ahem* but rest assured I will try my very best to ensure that this blog will be updated from time to time moving forward.

Jc says: Jin is such a bum ass... needs others to update his blog... TSK TSK..

OK.. She is so right! Just gotta admit that I am so lllaazzyyy to update my blog..As a matter of fact, I really don't mind others to update my blog now since it's so outdated - Any takers? Haha! Anyways, I have decided to gain back some momentum in blogging again by updating you what I have been up to for the past one week and yes, this time around I am going to do it without featuring those two 'FAMOUS' guest writers anymore. HMPMMM! =)

Let's start off the day when we last left you with my house hunting experience with Angie. The day after that, 19 February 08, oh well, I can't really remember what happened exactly on that day other than Jc and I joined Ryan, Hsiao Hooi, Chris, Ronnie and a few other colleagues for 'Lou Sang' again somewhere around in Subang Jaya. zzzz... I reckon I have 'Lou Sang' for way too many times for this Chinese New Year.

Hsiao Hooi & Ryan

Straight after the dinner, it was time for us to make some fast money! We quickly made a move to one of our colleagues - Kent's house to start our favourite activity. The banker was seriously very lucky at first and managed to rob us all of our money. Just when we thought we all ''nak lori'' already, things started to get a bit better for us! Perhaps it was because of Jc's 'Godlike Aura' again. It was also observed that she would only be godlike when her bet was RM5 and nothing less than that. As for myself, pathetically to say my lucky number has always been 2 - nothing more than that or else I will lose hell a lot of money for that!

God of Gambler with his personal assistant..

From the left to right: Chong, Ronnie, and Kent (our banker)

We headed for MAMAK stall after that and it was on Jc's and Chong's treats because they were the big winners of the night. I must say that Chinese New Year has never been that happening (and crazy) to me before I got to know this bunch of crazy people (you know who you are!) A lot of personal records have been made for this CNY, to name a few:-
  1. The amount of money I have lost in the gambling sessions (RM200+)
  2. The number of times that I have ''Lou Sang'' ( >4 times)
  3. The number of houses that I have gone to just to gamble and get the redpackets (>8 houses)
If you think this is how I ended my celebration for 2008 Chinese New Year, then you are soooo wrong!! Stay tuned for my next post when I will update you more about what I have been up to.

Cheerio..

We Came, We Saw, We Conquer!

Angie: Reporting in on behalf of Jin Siang. Thanks to Jc and her konco konco the night before, I woke up frigging late for Jin Siang's house hunting appointment. OMG, I also forgot that I was suppose to be in church at 8.45am for duty on Sunday! Nevertheless, I made it to Ah Beng Ah Lian Land in 15mins, what an achievement, cause it usually takes me nearly 30mins to reach Cheras through the hustle and bustle of KL City! We made our way to USJ by 11.30am, somehow I've never been a big fan of USJ area but ever since I've known Jc, it ain't that bad after all, she made it all so happening! Perhaps, we really enjoy each other's company so much that we don't even bother traveling to and fro from USJ-Cheras-Damansara all the time despite the distance.

Side tracking, who would have thought that Jin Siang would be buying a house in that location? You got it right, USJ! Uh huh, the owner of this blog is gonna own a house of his own very soon. LOADED with cash I must say! Went house hunting from USJ 20 all the way to USJ 2 in the blazing hot sun. Felt a lil dizzy after the 8th house, as they all looked the same. One porch, One kitchen, 4 bedder, 2 bathrooms but damn, this time, Jin Siang got a good housing agent, pretty efficient with her work! It was worth every bit of our time. Jin Siang owes me big time for spending my Sunday with him scouting for a house!

Later on met up with Eeps to have lunch at Relish @ Bukit Bintang. That's a money sucking restaurant that served us RM30 chicken burgers! You're prolly wondering if Jc, Js and I were earning 5 figure salaries to eat at those kinda places? Haha. Pau*ed hong bau from her as well as she just got married. Mind you, she's our frigging age. Jc, Js, when's your turn?

Had some time to spare before leaving for the airport to send Bryan off (check out Jin Siang's earlier post) Got him a cross as a goodbye present, hope he liked it, wondering if he actually reads this blog? But I so digg that picture he took with Jin Siang at Hamley's UK!

Our lovely Jc left for Sungai Buloh without the both of us, our only hope she brought home more money to share with us, but found out this morning that her frigging deck was missing an 'ACE'. There goes our hope of going out together for a luxurious dinner to end this awesometastic Chinese New Year.

Funny how the 3 of us are seating in Langkawi Room right now trying to book our tickets to Bangkok and blogging away...I must admit that this is way way much more fun that doing any of our KPI's, Op Model or frigging Change Management sh*t.

I hope to add more pictures of our day tomorrow..wish us a good week ahead, there's gonna be a celebration for me and Vince this Friday, that I can't wait. Jc and I will sing our hearts out! :) I'll just end here with a picture of the proud owner of this blog.

Guest Writers Strike Again!

Jc: Greetings once again! Well, we've received several comments on how funny and enjoyable our last blog was. Hence as not to disappoint them, we have decided to share with everyone the past events leading up till today. =) Alright... we left off at Starbucks, Mont Kiara on Friday night. So let's trace back and begin with Saturday, 16th February. Hmm... For me, I spent the afternoon in the salon getting my hair-dye touched up and a haircut. That took me a good few hours there! I've never been a big fan of sitting for 3 hours in one go...

Check out my pretty self, ain't I gorgeous? ;-p

Jc: Anyway, it's gonna be another 2 months till i ever step into the salon for my next visit. While I was turning moldy with mushrooms growing out of my ears, Jin and Gie was busy scurrying about with other engagements. Without me in tow, they were out at Bangsar (Gie's church) and made a move to Marc's house for his open house. They had the nerve to tell me how awesome-tastic the food was.. Sigh, my loss. Oh well.

Angie: Damn it, Marc's house was gigantic. It tops every house we've been through out the week. Situated in good ol' Bukit Damansara. You reckon, Winnie's House + Vincent's house was huge, this house had a swimming pool and the house could cater to at least 100 over people!!! (Some day, the 3 of us will make it!!)

Samantha, Marc, and Jin Siang

Aww... how sweet...

Angie: Adding to the chaos, there were !@#$@ kids screaming at the top of their voices, running in and out of the rooms, slamming those frigging wooden doors. Mind you, there were 1001 kids in that mansion. Asked Marc if he knew half of them, he replied, practically all of them were strangers and monsters.

Such a cutie pie.. Yummy!

Angie: However there was this lil boy that swooned me away by his cuteness. I promise you, this guy will be a heartbreaker someday. Sam did pass a comment that he won't remain all cute. In her own words "He will be ugly when he grows up" Don't wana sound paedophiliac but he caught my attention the entire night and captured a few, ok ok, I'm lying, I took a lot of photos of him. Even zoomed in a few shots to get a good angle! Haha!!

Angie: Oh by the way, let me introduce you to the spunk that swindled all our money in one night, Mr. Lee Jia Liang. He's all proud that he managed to pau our money and upgraded his bloody pc and we practically sponsored it.

Okay back to Jc: With my hair all done and ready, I made my way back home to have a quick change and mentally reminded myself to get some take aways. Good thing I made a stop at SS19 to "ta pau" fried rice as I received an SMS to get us "yee sang" as well.

Without any further delays, I drove off to Bukit Jelutong (Nic's crib) to help out with whatever necessary. Halfway on the road, I gave Gie and Jin a ring to confirm they were coming tonight... "We'll come after this, ok?" *Great, another item checked off my list*

Jc: I kept my fingers crossed in hopes that the rain will subside soon as BBQ-ing ain't easy with the smoke blowing in the wrong direction. LoL. Thank gawd Soon Siew (Ah Pao) was patient enough to be the chef of the night! Things began to pick up as more guest arrived... The usual stuffs came next (intro, small talks, bites and nibbles of food, laughters) Hehe... it wasn't long till Gie and Jin arrived and were itching to test their luck for the night! ;-p I obliged to be the dealer and that how the night of gambling started. About 6 hands after, Dennis and Ah Pao offered to be the dealer in hopes that we'd "Naik Lori" *sweep up all our money*. Luck was definitely on our side that night as the both of them got on the lorry instead! Muahahaha.... I had fair share in making this happen... Agreed, Gie & Jin? I was simply God-like, hardly ever losing a hand. Well, at least everyone profited this time. :-D

Check Jin Siang's hand, its frigging black jack on both sides

Js: Okay okay... same old rules - I just gotta write something for my own blog. *Tsk tsk* For those of you who are reading my blog for the first time, YES, this is not Jacinth's (the pretty self) or Angie's (the pedophile) blog. It's a blog belongs to a cute guy called Jin Siang - hahaha.. so full of myself? You'd better think again because look who's calling herself ''the pretty self'' the whole time in my blog!!! I reckon there will surely be some people out there misunderstanding that this blog is not ''ALL ABOUT JIN SIANG'' anymore ever since I featured Angie and Jc as my guest writers, considering the fact that they write more than I do nowadays. Ha ha.. but I do enjoy having them update all of you about what is happening around me because I am kinda lazy to type, not to mention to maintain a blog. Hehehe..

Anyway, back to the topic of gambling! I was seriously owning that night. The photo above prove that I was simply unstoppable! Jc's so-called ''Godlike Aura'' really helped me a lot, I suppose. Thanks Jc! You may wonder if I won a lot that night.. hmm.. due to the fact that I only bet RM 2 per game, I didn't manage to make a lot money that night - not as much as Jc and Angie! Dang! I did try to raise my bet and everytime I did it, I would lose! That's why I decided to stay with my RM 2 all the time but I was really happy and excited that night as I think it was the first time in this year that I actually won in gambling!!! Wheeeeeee.....

On a lighter note, I think Jc's friends are really a bunch of funny and interesting people and I would really love to hang out with them next time again if there is a chance. They were simply awesome and always made me laugh throughout the night. =) Warren is the funniest guy that I have ever met! Ha ha...

Jc's friends - Ah Pau, Warren, and Jeremy! (From Left to Right)

Jc: It was showing 3a.m when we decided to call it a night... To cap the session, we all doubled our wager on the last hand and being on a winning streak *not to mention my god-like aura that night* Wahahah... I placed my RM10 wager and nicely thanked Dennis & Ah Pao for the BlackJack hand! Wheeee.... I smiled at them sweetly! ;-p Whoopps.... Sorry. Gie and Jin made their move back to Bangsar and Cheras respectively while I had to help Nic to clean up his lovely home.

Jin Siang went home a happy man after pau-ing Siew Pau's money!!!

Gee...feels like deja vu as that's the exact thing that happened last year. Oh well, anything for Nic, who is almost like my own bro to me. =) With the household chores done, I drove home and called it a night....wait, a fabulous night with thanks to Ah Pao and Den for their generous contribution to my cash balance! Woots!! *Snickers*

Angie: What an awesome, tiring night with good friends. Till our next post...

Adios Bryan...

Goodbye Bryan..

Just came back from KLIA to send Bryan off and it was really saddening to say goodbye to him as he's really been a very nice friend to me all this while. =(

Without realising it, I have known Bryan for about 8 months already. I can still remember that the first impression that he gave me wasn't really that good because he seemed to be a quite big-headed guy for me and also, a very unapproachable guy for me. To add on to that, he 'raped' (not literally!!!) me like there was no tomorrow in DOTA when I first met him - I don't think I will ever forget that he made me die beyond godlike in those few games.

Bryan's 18th Birthday Celebration

I was tip-toeing to make myself as tall as Bryan!

Though we've just known each other for a short period of time, I have always enjoyed spending time with him. I will for sure miss his presence after he leaves to Melbourne for his studies! *sniff* *sniff* The times when we spent together scouting around London aimlessly was certainly another thing that I can never forget also.

With Bryan in Hamley and there was a drunk girl beside us!

Something that I do not like about Bryan? Perhaps it'd be the pressure that I'll always have when I take photos with him. Why? Look at all those photos and need I say more? GG.com! I look like a bloody midget beside him!! *Getting depressed*

Bryan, please do take good care of yourself over there in Melbourne and I will see you very soon again. All the best to you in the new chapter of your exciting life!

Till my next post.

Cheers.

Guest Writers Of The Week

>> Saturday, February 16, 2008

Hi everyone...We're Jc a.k.a Jacinth and Angie, reporting in for Jin Siang as guest writers for the day. Today we're going to give you the highlight of the past week. And boy oh boy it was an intense week indeed. Let's see..

Angie : (Bubble bubble) Sunday 10th of February. It all started right after my open house. Kevin, Jc and I decided to go on a joy ride as well as to collect angpaus around Bangsar after making some cash out of Thuan, Ron and Masud (my bosss!!) First stop was Pauline's house. (Not really eventful, hustled some money, and we were off to the next stop) Next came the rich brats. (Damn, kids these days have all the money in the world to splash, guess it didn't hurt them cause they probably didn't earn it)

Jc : Yups...I totally agree with Angie there! It was my first visit and intro to Angie's bunch of "anak buahs" *She kinda had a hand in bringing them up since they were really little spoilt bratty kids.* There we began our session of "God of the Gamblers" and the master banker was Jia Liang. Damn, he is pretty good at it as well. At the end of the night, I kinda gave all my winning s from Pauline's place to Jia Liang!!

This is what Chinese New Year means to all of us. To pau* each other's money

Introducing Rich Brat II, Ben Sum

Arghh.... Anyway, we closed that night by playing firecrackers at a nearby park. This place we were at was sooo close to Gajana's house. Angie and I were tempted to spring a surprise by posting a note on Gaj's doorsteps saying " WE WERE HERE!! Signed off at 2am." Too bad we din't dare cuz we din't want her parents to think that she hung out with crazy nuts like us.. Err, yes, I know we truly are crazy actually..but no need to declare that to Gaj's parent, huh. ;-p After the park, we went yumcha at TomYum's and headed home.

Monday Morning..

Angie : Zzz...Didnt feel like working, after all we're all still in the CNY Mood, yeah? Planned with Jc, Kevin and Hana the night before to have lunch at BBQ Chicken, Hartamas to celebrate her 25th Bday. No biggie..we all will turn 25 this year. Old farts! Took off to Country Heights to pick up Skinny Jeans Jay-C to head to Sungai Wang. (AH BENG, AH LIAN clan alert!!) We were missing Jin Siang big time, praying that he gets his arse back from AH BENG and AH LIAN Teluk Intan Small Town quick to join us. (p/s - no wonder he feels so at home at sungai wang - he is part of that KKK, ok I was just kidding there) Went scouting for handphone covers, failed to purchase anything. Ended up seating at C. Bean for bubble tea?(uh huh, bubble tea) while waiting for skinny jeans boy to buy his RM480 bag for his housemate?

Off we went to SS2 to meet up with the rest of the gang for Joseph's 27th Bday Dinner. Again, no biggie..Jay-C was enthralled by SS2 Pasar Malam, he even got himself a torchlight (wow!) tsk tsk. As we waited for our lousy dinner, Jc got really tired and her bed was calling out her name. (Jc, Jc, Jc come to mama!!) Drove to Seremban to send skinny jeans JayC home..zzzz...

That's skinny jeans Jay- C

Jc :Woohoo...it's now Tuesday, 12 February and Jin Siang finally decided to get his arse back into the office! As he reached the office, we dragged him along for lunch at Esquire Kitchen to "Lou Sang". We had Gaj, Vince, Angie, Jin Siang and not to forget, my pretty self for the "Lou Sang" ;-D Anyway, we had a heartful lunch and headed back to the office, lazed our butts off till 6pm. 6pm came and we could hardly wait to try our luck to swindle Jia Liang's moo-lah. Sighs... you guessed it, we failed. The night ended with JS winning RM10, Angie RM5, myself - no win, no loss. So much for testing power!

Js : Okay, it's my turn to write something since it's my blog anyway! ;) Wednesday!! Hmm, just when you thought we would be so burnt out for we had been hanging out till so late the past two days, it was another EVENTFUL day again with all the gambling, gambling and gambling! We had decided to have the potluck at one of the richest brats' - A Cut Above's son's (Marcus Teo) house.

Straight after dinner, as you may have guessed it, it was another gambling session. Having Jia Liang (LUCKY BASTARD!!!) as our banker that night, our luck didn't really improve anyhow. I lost RM120, JC lost RM40 and Angie lost RM100... What an achievement indeed!!!!! According to the f*cking lucky bastard, all our money has subsidised his PC upgrade. DAMN! Nevertheless, before we left the house, we decided to sing our hearts out to channel our sadness. We played 'Sing Star' and wahahhaha, I won against Jc in the showdown. I am just a natural born singer... oh well... ;)

Angie : Okay, my eyes are dozing off...Then came Thursday, Valentines Day. Damn, felt like crap after loosing everthing to Jia Lat. A few of us headed down to Dragon I for dinner...

Was contemplating between Counter Strike and Clubbing? If you guys know us pretty well by now, you'll prolly know where we headed to next? Any takers? Off we went to Bar Club joined together with water closet a.k.a Wong Chin, Jas & Raisul later. What a crazy night indeed.

Imagine opening a bottle of vodka and finishing it within minutes. Everyone was nearly there. Raisul had the cheek* to puke on a stranger's hand. Wong Chin had to buy that dude a jug of beer to compensate. We had to save Wong Chin's ass from his 'friend' - layan her maximum on the dance floor. Say no to Vodka, say no! If only, I'll remember this the next time we hang out as a bunch. Reached back home safely approx at 330am. TGIF.

Jc : The weekend is around the corner... Friday, 15 February. Lest I mention how we closed off this crazy albeit "stonking" week! We obediently plonked ourselves in our office seats till 6.30pm and as we patiently counted the hours and minutes till the weekend began... Off office hours, we first headed to Bangsar, Vincent's crib (Another one of Gie's loaded mate!) The whole bunch of us made a headline to TomYum's for dinner and was joined by Jia Liang. Post dinner, you know what was next...lol. Gambling! Wahahah. Darn..this habit better not stick on to me after CNY. Has a number of hands on Blackjack, multitasking on singing K at the same time. I think I lost abit at Vincent's place but no sweat about it. It was small fry compared to what I'd usually go for. ;-p Then after, we made a quick stop at Adrian's pad *yet another upper-class offspring*.. There we promised to make it our last visit before we go for our weekly clubbing session. Only 30 mins there and that kinda changed our mood for clubbing. We did leave in the end but only to end up at Starbucks, Mont Kiara.. Long short, cutting it short..here we are BLOGGING!!!

We had no patience to find a decent car park, hence the photo above!!

Muahahha...Hope you enjoyed reading our week long adventure. We'll do our best to post pics on the week *Jin, please do the honours..ok?* Till next time.... Niteeeezzzzzzz......Signed off : 2.51 am, Saturday 16 February.

Angie : Till we meet again in our next entry. Signing off..Ta

A Year Ago Today - My Fave Song

>> Tuesday, February 12, 2008

'A year ago today' - this is the song that is currently playing in my Ipod while I am lying in my bed.. and it somehow hit me hard as I was trying to think what happened in 2007 that I could remember vividly, that I could tell everyone that: A year ago today, I was doing this and that..

The lyrics of this song are just too good, making it my all-time favourite!

Another year older
A little bit stronger
A little bit wiser than a year ago today

Looking over my shoulder
I was so much younger then
I cant believe what happened
A year ago today

And I just forget about it
It wouldnt mean a thing
You went away
A year ago today

Another year gone by
Oh the tears have run dry
Life seemed so unkind
A year ago today

And I just cant understand it
And I dont think I ever will
You went away
A year ago today

And I just cant understand it
And I dont think I ever will
You went away
A year ago today

And how many times have I questioned myself
What more could I do
And how many times did I fool myself
Over you oh? yeah

Youve gotta pick yourself up,
Take another look
And dust yourself off cause lifes not too good,
Ill say it to myself and Ill say it again
Lover will never end

And though were so far apart
Youre forever in my heart

Another year older
A little bit stronger
On this anniversary
Youre watching over me

You went away
A year ago today

You ran away
A year ago today

Don't get me wrong - I did not get emo listening to this song because someone left me last year, but rather it is the thought that 2007 really passed in a blink of an eye and did I achieve anything in 2007??

Hope I will be a little wiser while getting a little bit older at the same time. *grin* I really need to get some sleep now.

Peace out ...

Random Pictures Of Mine...

It's 3 a.m. now and for no reason, I just can't sleep. Perhaps it is because of the long drive back to Kuala Lumpur from my hometown just now. I decided to upload some of the photos that I took today just to let everyone see how vain I can be... *haha*

Oh well, what's better than camwhoring when you are getting bored waiting for your lunch/ dinner to be served in the restaurant?

LUNCH TIME!!

DINNER TIME!!

Ok.. seriously, after seeing the photos above, I think this is getting out of hands already. Can I still be saved?? I am too vain and I have no idea since when I've started to become a vainpot (and a poser too!!!) Does it have something to do with getting to know one of my 'vainpot' colleagues - Jacinth Foo???

Speechless.....
